Muchagara is the name of one of the villages in the Kirinyaga district. Coffee production began in 1959. The Kirinyaga region of its origin is rich in volcanic soil. Kenya AA Muchagara is grown at an altitude of 1700 - 1800 m a.s.l. The characteristic features of the beans from this region are pleasant, slightly refreshing acidity, smooth body and fruity-herbal aromas. The water used to make the beans comes from the nearby Kamweti River.
Coffee harvests fall in November and December. The beans are wet processed and then dried in the sun on special tables. Varietal: SL34, SL28. The "AA" mark guarantees high-class coffee subjected to rigorous selection.
The aromatic bouquet is dominated by notes of fresh raspberry, gooseberry and rhubarb. In addition to strong fruit notes, you can find herbal-floral notes - chamomile and linden. The brew's consistency is light and the caffeine content is moderate. The brew leaves a pleasant sour aftertaste.
Kenya AA Muchagara is a coffee for fruit lovers, the best results will be obtained by brewing with alternative methods. Due to its aroma it works best in drip, chemeks, aeropress. Unmatched in the cold brewing in the summer.
