The latest edition of potato vodka from the Chopin Distillery in Krzesk. Young Potato is a vodka distilled only once to preserve its full flavor and aroma. It is made exclusively from Denar potatoes, grown in the Podlasie region, planted at the end of April and harvested in July. These potatoes are highly valued for their resistance to weather fluctuations and their flavor and texture are appreciated by consumers.

The character of this year's spirit was shaped by the whims of the weather during the spring and early summer of 2021: a rainy and snowy April, followed by a cool May that gave way to exceptionally hot days in June, and an unusually warm and stormy July with hot nights.

The aromatic profile of Young Potato 2021 is intense, pure, with noticeable notes of caramelized potatoes. During tasting, there is a sweetness with an intriguing hint of red currant, followed by distinct flavors of ripe plum transitioning into a slightly earthy finish.

Young Potato is a unique product in terms of production process. Unlike other potato spirits, the potato distillate is not rectified. Young potatoes, being low in starch, are much more challenging as a raw material for alcohol production compared to those harvested in autumn. One bottle of the finished spirit is made from approximately 50 potatoes. Single distillation requires both high-quality raw materials and technological precision. Each edition of Young Potato is made exclusively from a single potato variety and the production process is supervised by Master Distiller Waldemar Durakiewicz. After distillation, to add smoothness to the alcohol, Young Potato matures in vats, which is why bottling for each vintage takes place in March of the following year. Since its debut, Young Potato has been a vintage spirit released in limited quantities, which also gives it collectible value
